• Pesto Party! Thursday, Oct. 8 from 2-3 p.m. at the Cooper Center, 500 E. Lorain St., Oberlin. OCS staff will demonstrate how to make various types of pesto and hand out free samples. Learn a healthy recipe using fresh herbs you can grow in your garden! Registration required (below). This event is full and registration has been closed.

• Seed Saving: Thursday, Oct. 15 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the OCS Cooper Center garden pavilion. Learn how to collect, prepare, and store your garden’s seeds (tomatoes, lettuce, beans, dill, and more!). Leave with free seeds and a take-home guide on how to save your own seeds. Folks from Legion Field Community Garden will lead this workshop (but it will be held at the OCS pavilion!). NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Simply show up and enjoy!
