Little Sprouts Garden Camp
The Little Sprouts free summer camp presented by Oberlin Community Services. Kids can learn about gardening, nature, and sustainability. It’s a safe place for children to learn about how food is grown! Children must be registered in advance to participate.
COST: FREE
FOR: Children ages 6-10
PICK EITHER: Week 1 — June 23-27 OR Week 2 — July 21-25
TIME: 9:30AM-Noon
LOCATION: The Cooper Center, 500 E. Lorain St., Oberlin
ACTIVITIES: Learn about gardening, the plant life cycle, pollinators, and more, with hands-on instruction, crafts, and games
End of Class Field Trip (June 27th and July 25th): Parents / Guardians will need to drop their kids off at Legion Fields Community Garden and pick them up at the Oberlin Recreation Complex playground at 225 W Hamilton St, Oberlin, OH, 44074 *Subject to change if the forecast is calling for rain*
REGISTRATION
This is a FREE day camp; space is limited and will be honored on a first come, first served basis. If you are registering more than one child in your household, please submit a registration form for EACH child.
Snacks will not be provided by Oberlin Community Services, so please bring something with the child when you drop them off in the morning.
If something comes up and your child cannot attend, please email. We have a high response rate for this program and would like to extend it to our waitlist if possible.
