Join OCS and partners to discuss trends affecting southern Lorain County communities, share trends and issues you’re seeing, talk about concerns, and find out how we can support each other’s work!
YOU’RE INVITED:
DAY: Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026
TIME: Noon to 1:30 p.m.
PLACE: The Cooper Community Resource Center, 500 E. Lorain St., Oberlin
LUNCH: OCS will provide a build-your-own salad bar!
FEATURED SPEAKER: Denise Rucker-Burton will talk about McGregor PACE, which has been expanding to assist Lorain County's growing population of seniors who require specialized care and support. Lorain County skews "older" overall, with about 19 percent of residents ages 65 and up. OCS has seen a steady increase in need among our older neighbors, and I'm sure many of you have noted the same trend.
Donations to help OCS offset the costs of holding networking luncheons are always welcome. Just $10 helps us cover expenses.
