Join OCS and partners to discuss trends affecting southern Lorain County communities, share trends and issues you’re seeing, talk about concerns, and find out how we can support each other’s work!

YOU’RE INVITED:

DAY: Tuesday, July 14
TIME: 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
PLACE: The Cooper Community Resource Center, 500 E. Lorain St., Oberlin
LUNCH: We plan to order pizza and salad from Lorenzo’s
FEATURED SPEAKER: Tennille Power, Executive Director of NAMI Lorain County, will offer a QPR training for all who attend. QPR stands for "Question, Persuade, Refer" and is a three-step process for recognizing the warning signs of suicide and steering people away from self-harm and toward help. This training is especially useful for those who serve neighbors/clients struggling with extreme stress, drug use, depression, anxiety, chronic disease, hunger, and other risk factors.

Donations to help OCS offset the costs of holding networking luncheons are always welcome. Just $10 helps us cover expenses.
