    Recurring Volunteer Needs

    Second Saturday Distribution
What? Help us at our large monthly weekend distribution– we will especially need help stocking food items, breaking down boxes, helping people with their groceries to their cars, setting up tables and chairs, and directing traffic. Some seated volunteer opportunities available. Please wear close-toed shoes. Some work is outdoors and some work is indoors.
When? Every second Saturday of the month, volunteers needed 9am-2pm.
Where? 285 S. Professor St (Oberlin Community Services)

    Distribution
Our next Second Saturday Distribution is January 14th. We need volunteers from 9:00am to 11:30am and from 11:30am to 2:00pm. If you can’t make it out on Saturday, we also need help on Friday afternoon setting up.

    Spring Updates

As the weather gets warmer, it’s time to start thinking about the garden! We will have a garden meeting at the end of the month to do some planning and get started gardening! Please let me know if you are interested in gardening this season. It’s a great chance to get outside, get kids involved with OCS, and help us to grow our own food.

    General Needs
We still really need more pantry volunteers on Tuesdays, morning and afternoon.
Also, OCS has a bike loaner program, and we always need bike mechanic assistance on an ongoing basis. If you think that you could do that, let us know!
