Giving to OCS

Oberlin Community Services welcomes cash contributions of all sizes. In fact, we rely on personal contributions for up to a third of our operating budget each year. To donate electronically, just use the link below. You will be taken to a secure website where you can enter your credit card information.

Donations can also be dropped off at or mailed to our office at 285 South Professor St., Oberlin, OH 44074. Please make checks out to Oberlin Community Services. All gifts to OCS are tax deductible as allowed by federal and state law.

OCS also encourages gifts of stocks and mutual funds. This kind of gift allows the donor to receive a charitable deduction for the full, fair-market value of the gift without being subject to a capital gains tax on the appreciation. For more information on making a gift of securities, contact our Executive Director Linda Arbogast at (440) 774 6579 or execdirector@oberlin.net.

Since 1955, Oberlin Community Services (OCS) has supported the community in sensitive and caring ways. The OCS staff, Oberlin College work-study students, and more than a hundred volunteers join forces with schools, churches, medical and social service providers, civic groups, businesses, and government to offer a wide array of services to low-income citizens of Oberlin and Southern Lorain County.

For more specifics on how we operate and who we help each month, please look at our annual report.
